Norm Bour and Mike Roberts host the hottest radio talk show in Southern California! The Real Estate and Finance Show is heard in Los Angeles on KRLA, 870 AM, each Sunday afternoon from 3:00-4:00 PM (PST). Covering an area from Ventura to San Diego County, and inland to Palm Springs, the Show is also heard live on KNUU, 970AM in Las Vegas, Nevada, along with other cities via satellite and on the internet at the normandmike.com web-site.

The Real Estate and Finance Show is designed to help people manage money more efficiently with the tag line “teaching you to do more with the money you already have”. The Show answers questions about real estate, financing, taxes, estate planning, budgeting, cash flow analysis, and most anything relating to money strategies. As two of the preeminent “Mortgage Strategists” in the country, the Guys also teach their listeners to manage their cash flow more efficiently with the goal of paying off their mortgages in less than 10 years by using their Mortgage Acceleration Program, known as Mortgage Accelerator PLUS. With Norm as the glib humorist and Mike as the conservative “answer man”, the listeners are informed as well as entertained with their knowledge, candor and direct answers to some not always easy questions.

Norm was a previous member of the nationally syndicated Doug Fabian Radio Show as their Mortgage Expert, and continues to help people understand how money really works. He has been a guest on the Conway & Steckler Show, BizSoup, and Judd McIlvain's Trouble Shooter, all nationally syndicated radio shows, along with interviewed by MSNBC, Inman News, smartmoney.com, San Francisco Chronicle, La Opinion (Hispanic), Mortgage Originator Magazine, Orange County Register and a cover article in BROKER magazine among others.

Norm started his real estate career in 1981 and learned the hard way, with mortgage rates well over 12%. He saw that most people were mismanaging their finances, and he became involved with the CFP (Certified Financial Planners) program, receiving his Securities, insurance and variable annuities licenses. His goal was to impart more complete financial knowledge to his clients.

Norm offered these services along with his insight of investments and financial planning, and in 1991, with real estate values falling 20-40%, founded Pre-foreclosure Specialists, the first company designed to negotiate “short sales” with lenders and to reduce foreclosures, which were becoming prevalent with the drop in real estate values.

In 1997, Norm expanded into the mortgage field and started his own company, Priority Plus Lending, then became a member of the Doug Fabian Radio Show, offering weekly real estate information and addressing the needs of Fabian’s clients who were looking for HONEST and direct answers. While on Fabian’s Show, Norm began offering the Mortgage Acceleration Program, an innovative financial planning system and a way of paying off debt with greater money efficiency without changing a person’s lifestyle. Through a more EFFECTIVE management of cash flow, the possibility of being mortgage and debt free in 1/3rd the time became a reality instead of an unfulfilled dream.

Mike Roberts has been a frequent speaker, television and radio host and guest lecturer on real estate, financing and the economy in California for over 20 years. He has held a California real estate brokers license since 1981, along with several other professional licenses and designations that allow him to practice in numerous other states. Since completing his formal education, he has continued his professional education so that he can work with an ever increasing and varied client base. He regularly represents clients in their real estate transactions, mortgage matters, insurance and estate planning programs and helps solve any problems that they may have with the IRS.

Mike is the past President and Chairman of the Board of the IAFP (International Association for Financial Planning), Orange County Chapter, plus held the Vice President post of the CAFP (California Association of Financial Planning) for three years. During his CAFP tenure, he held the positions of Secretary/Treasurer, Legislature Liaison, and publisher of the California Planner, the monthly trade publication for their 25,000 members. For many years Mike has been an active member with The Orange County Association of Realtors, and has held several positions in the Association, including Treasurer for six terms and President in 1997, later honoring him as their “Realtor of the Year”.

As a Director of CAR, (California Association of Realtors) since 1996, he has been a member of many committees including Governmental Affairs, Housing Affordability, and Credit Scoring and is the most recent Chairman of the Taxation committee, along with being the new Co-chairman of the Finance Committee. He was involved with a task force on Affordable Housing issues in California and helped write the final report that was presented to the Governor’s Office. Mike is also considered an Expert Real Estate Witness and has appeared in excess of 20 court cases, plus meets regularly with other Expert Witnesses to stay current on court cases that impact the real estate community.

The California Department of Real Estate has approved one of his companies, Trust Solutions, for continuing real estate education credits in Consumer Protection, the only company ever approved by the DRE for an 18-hour creative financing course in Consumer Protection.

Norm and Mike have taught thousands of homeowners how to create OPTIONS for themselves, and to demonstrate that a mortgage free home IS a possibility. By teaching people to “think like a BANK”, most of their clients pay off their homes in 8.5 years, and their Mortgage Accelerator PLUS has truly changed the financial outcome of their audience. They provide live workshops throughout the country.
